In the golden age of RTS games (circa 2001), Battle Realms was the weird kid in class. While everyone else was mining lumber and spamming marines, this game asked you to balance water, feed your horses, and train peasants by sending them through a dojo, an archery range, or a tavern. It was brilliant, beautiful, and commercially ignored.
