This has been one of my favorite songs for years. I contacted Rick back in 2002 about collaborating, partly because I had sung this song so many times. The recording is from Rick's Praise Classics 2 CD. - Elton, September 12, 2009

Lyrics

Lord, I lift Your name on high.
Lord, I love to sing Your praises.
I'm so glad You're in my life;
I'm so glad You came to save us.

You came from Heaven to earth
To show the way.
From the Earth to the cross,
My debt to pay.
From the cross to the grave,
From the grave to the sky;
Lord, I lift Your name on high.

Lord, I lift Your name on high.
Lord, I love to sing Your praises.
I'm so glad You're in my life;
I'm so glad You came to save us.

You came from Heaven to earth
To show the way.
From the Earth to the cross,
My debt to pay.
From the cross to the grave,
From the grave to the sky;
Lord, I lift Your name on high.

You came from Heaven to earth
To show the way.
From the Earth to the cross,
My debt to pay.
From the cross to the grave,
From the grave to the sky;
Lord, I lift Your name on high.

You came from Heaven to earth
To show the way.
From the Earth to the cross,
My debt to pay.
From the cross to the grave,
From the grave to the sky;
Lord, I lift Your name on high.

As she progressed on her fitness journey, Lana began to notice a significant change in her physique and overall well-being. Her confidence soared, and she found herself wanting to help others achieve similar results. This sparked her interest in becoming a fitness professional, leading her to pursue various certifications and training programs. It was during this time that Lana Rhoades created -BlackIsBetter-, a brand that would become synonymous with her approach to fitness. The name -BlackIsBetter- represents Lana’s philosophy: that sometimes, it’s the unconventional and lesser-known methods that yield the greatest results.

For Lana, -BlackIsBetter- is more than just a brand – it’s a way of life. It’s about embracing the unknown, taking risks, and pushing oneself to new heights. This mindset has been instrumental in her own transformation, allowing her to overcome obstacles and achieve her goals. So, what sets -BlackIsBetter- apart from other fitness programs? According to Lana, it’s the focus on sustainable, long-term results. Rather than promoting quick fixes or fad diets, -BlackIsBetter- emphasizes the importance of patience, consistency, and self-care.

Early Beginnings: Lana’s Fitness Journey Growing up, Lana Rhoades was always athletic, participating in various sports throughout her childhood. However, it wasn’t until her early twenties that she discovered her true passion for fitness.
