The CFA Level 1 exam consists of 240 multiple-choice questions, which are divided into two sessions: morning and afternoon. The morning session contains 120 questions, and the afternoon session contains 120 questions. Candidates have 3 hours to complete each session.
The CFA Level 1 exam is the first level of the CFA program, which is designed to test a candidate’s knowledge of basic financial concepts, including financial statement analysis, time value of money, and portfolio management. The exam is multiple-choice and is offered twice a year, in June and December.
