The movie revolves around the origin of the G.I. Joe team and the rise of their arch-nemesis, Cobra. The story begins with a young hard hat diver named James “Duke” McCoy (Channing Tatum), who is recruited by the G.I. Joe team for his bravery and skills. Duke soon discovers that the team is led by General Joseph “Duke” Hauser (Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson), who is determined to stop the evil Cobra organization.

The G.I. Joe team, along with Duke and his new friend, Scarlett (Sienna Miller), must stop Cobra and destroy the Hard Master. Along the way, they encounter other characters, including Barbecue (Brendan Fraser), a fun-loving and skilled demolition expert, and The Baroness (Rachel Ticotin), a former KGB agent with ties to Cobra.

Cobra, led by the enigmatic and ruthless Cobra Commander (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), has developed a powerful nanotechnology called “The Hard Master,” which can convert any object into a deadly weapon. Cobra’s plan is to use this technology to take over the world.
