Born on March 26, 1938, in Milan, Italy, Tinto Brass began his career in the film industry as an assistant director and screenwriter. He made his directorial debut in 1971 with the film “In the Year 2000,” which was followed by “The Girl with the Pistol” (1970) and “The Lady and the Stripper” (1973). However, it was his 1982 film “Malabimba” that brought him widespread recognition and critical acclaim.
