In the early 1980s, science fiction was experiencing a resurgence in popularity, thanks in part to the success of films like “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial” and “Star Wars.” Television was also getting in on the action, with shows like “Buck Rogers in the 25th Century” and “Battlestar Galactica” captivating audiences. But one series stood out from the rest, a show that would become a cult classic and a staple of 80s pop culture: “V - Invasion extraterrestre - 1984 - Serie,” or simply “V.”

“V” is a science fiction television series that aired from 1984 to 1985. Created by Kenneth Johnson, the show is set in a dystopian future where a group of human resistance fighters, led by characters like Diana, a journalist, and Gomez, a mechanic, battle against an alien invasion force known as the “Visitors.” The Visitors, or “Vs,” are a technologically advanced species that appear to be benevolent, but are actually planning to exploit Earth’s resources.
