What are common failure points? I’m seeing +5.6V on a 12V rail after the regulator, but no visible cap bulging.

I’m working on a AV receiver that’s stuck in a protection mode loop (not a simple speaker wire short). Does anyone have access to the official Service Manual ? What are common failure points
